If you're not sure which data upload frequency you need for each device, here's our tip: think about the value you want to measure and if it's something that varies a lot or not that much, then choose the frequency that aligns with that characteristic.

In the following table you can see our recommendations:

Choose this option for devices with slow motion or actions that don't vary much.

For example, controlling tank levels, checking valve positions, or seeing how the weather is affecting a certain device.

Choose this option for devices with frequent motion or for actions that don't vary continuously.

For example, if you want to measure changes in humidity in an environment, temperature variation in your installation, or pressure changes in a tank.

Choose this option for devices with highly active motion or actions that vary continuously.

For example, checking motor revolutions, measuring production speed, or geolocalizing vehicles or moving objects.
