The information you can view when going into each device's details is automatically completed when linking an IO-Link device to Neuron. This information is known as IODD and it's set by the manufacturer of the IO-Link device.

IODD (IO Device Description) can contain several types of data:

  • Device identity

  • Parameters

  • Data processing

  • Data diagnosis

  • Communication properties

  • Image associated with the device

Neuron displays these data as they appear in the IODD. Although they can't be initially modified, you do have the option to edit the parameters in the widget section within the device's specifications.
