When you have all the components you need, you will have to follow a simple procedure that will take no more than 15 minutes.
1. Connect your devices
Successfully connect your MQTT devices to your installation’s CPU.
2. Create your Neuron account
Log into https://neuron.plexo.cloud to create your account.
Set up your subscription and calculate your fee based on your devices’ needs.
Enter the region where you want to host your data and email.
Enter your bank details for payments.
Once the payment has been complete, your company profile in Neuron App will be ready.
3. Create a new gateway
Log into Neuron App.
Select the "Equipment" option from the side menu.
Add a new MQTT-type gateway.
4. Download and verify MQTT certificates
Download and verify the certificates on the CPU connected to the network your devices are connected to.
5. Add modules to your MQTT gateway
After the certificate installation process is complete, it's time to add the different modules.
To begin, press the "Add" button and select "Module".
After doing so, a window will open where you can connect to the different modules. Enter the required information:
Module name
Description of the module
Serial number: if you don't have it, you can use any other identifying information specific to the module.
Device model ID: Neuron will display the different available options.

When you are finished, click on "Save" to connect the module to the gateway.
6. Add sensors to your MQTT gateway
Go to the module you want to add a sensor to.
Once you’re there, Neuron will display all the sensors connected to that module.
Press the "Add" button in the upper menu and select "Sensor".
Next, a window to configure the sensor will open up. Complete with the required data:
Module name
Description of the module
Serial number: if you don't have it, you can use any other identifying information specific to the module.
Device model ID. Select the type of data that the sensor collects from the following options: String, Float, Boolean, or Integer.
Order/channel: create a number that will help understand how the sensors are arranged. The values are numeric, for example: 1, 2, 3...
Tags to help recognize the sensor within the installation.
When you are finished press "Save" and the sensors will appear next to the modules in the MQTT gateway you just created.
That's it! You can now use Neuron!
