Neuron offers the possibility of deleting a gateway to completely erase both the digital representation of the gateway devices and the infrastructure of its software.

By doing so, all the gateway device cards (modules and sensors) are automatically removed from the "Equipment" section in Neuron App's main menu, although the data from the devices generated by the gateway is still accessible under Assets in the "Resources" section of the menu.

To delete a gateway follow these steps:

  1. In Neuron App’s main menu, go to the "Equipment" section and click on the gateway.

  2. From the menu, select the "Delete" option.

  3. Confirm that you want to delete the gateway.

  4. Once you’ve confirmed, the gateway will disappear from Neuron App and, along with it, the registration code and the software created to manage it.

This process removes the device images on Neuron App, however, it won't affect the contracted devices.

⚠️ When you "Delete" a gateway, the devices linked to that gateway
are not deleted. This means that the gateway devices will still be
invoiced. You can manage the devices and services you’ve contracted
in Neuron App's "Settings" section.
