Floor plan widgets offer many possibilities, among others, they allow us to create navigable monitors.

They provide several options, such as displaying information on an image of the installation and performing different actions.

Floor Plan options:

Linking monitors

We can link monitors so we can access other monitors in the installation via a floor plan widget.

To do so, follow this process:

  1. When creating a floor plan widget, after establishing the location on the image, click on the "Link monitor" icon in the drop-down menu.

  2. Then choose the monitor you want to link that point on the floor plan to and click "Save".

Displaying asset metrics

Floor plan widgets also allow us to display asset information in real time.

To do so, follow this process:

  1. When creating a floor plan widget, you must have previously selected the data from a metric in the "Data" tab.

  2. After establishing the location on the image, choose the metric you want to show on the floor plan from the drop-down menu.

  3. Finally, select "Asset" and click on "Save".

Displaying device information

Floor plan widgets also allow us to display device information. For example, its name, serial number, sensor type...

To do so, follow this process:

  1. When creating a floor plan widget, you must have previously selected the information you want to display in the “Data” tab, such as the device name, in this case.

2. After establishing the location on the image, choose the metric you want to show on the floor plan from the drop-down menu.

3. Finally, select what you want to link that point on the floor plan to, in this case, we’d indicate that it’s an Asset.

4. Click on "Save" to apply the changes to the floor plan widget you’re creating.
