Widgets on a Monitor show us asset data converted into information.
To add widgets to a monitor, follow the procedure below:
Go to the "Monitors" section in Neuron App’s main menu.
Access the monitor where you want to create the widget.
Click on the "Edit widgets" button.
Once inside the editor, press the "Add widget" button.
This will open a window that will allow you to configure the new widget. Type in a name for the widget.
Then select the type of widget you want to create. You can choose from the following:
Line chart: shows the evolution of one or more sets of data over time. It plots points and allows us to select the displayed time period.
Table: shows multiple KPIs in a table. When configuring it, it allows us to choose between different measurements so we can select the ones we are interested in showing.
KPI Indicator: displays a single, real-time datum.
Floor plan: These widgets allow us to display information on an image of the installation, which makes it possible to place the sensors on the image and display asset information on a floor plan. You can follow this step-by-step process to create them.
Next, in the upper menu, click on the "Data" tab and select the Asset for which you want to retrieve information.
Finally, select the data you want the widget to display. For example: temperature, degrees Celsius, asset name...
⚠️ When a widget type can’t display data, it will be disabled.
Once you have set it up, click on "Save".
The new widget will be displayed in the Editor. If you want, drag it to sort it.
Click "Save" when you are finished.
The widget will appear along with the other widgets on the monitor.
That’s it! You’ve created a new widget! If you have any questions about how to create widgets, you can contact our technical support team at neuron@plexo.cloud.
