Floor plan widgets offer many possibilities. Among other things, they help us visualize the data from different sensors in an installation at a glance and they also allow us to link monitors or display a device's technical information.
To add floor plan widgets to a monitor, follow the procedure below:
1. Go to the "Monitor" section in Neuron App’s main menu and access the monitor where you want to create the widget.
2. Click on the "Edit widgets" button.
3. Once inside the editor, press the "Add widget" button. This will open a window that will allow you to configure the new widget.
4. Type in a name for the widget.
5. Select the floor plan widget option.
6. Neuron will then need an image of the installation where the sensors’ position can be easily viewed.
7. Once you’ve uploaded it, click on the "Data" section in the upper menu. There you can select the type of data you want the floor plan to display.
8. When you’ve finished, click on "Floor plan" in the upper menu. Once you're there, move the cursor to the area of your installation where you want the information to appear. Match it with the exact location of the asset you want to display in your installation.
9. A circle will appear indicating the selected position. When clicked, a menu will be displayed.
10. Select the metric you want to display. The ones you have marked will appear in the "Data" section.
11. Next, select information that you want to be displayed among the different floor plan options:
Asset: this displays the asset data and when you click on the point, it leads you to the corresponding asset information.
Dashboard: this links to another monitor and its contents. This way, it’s possible to create different levels within the installation’s graphical representation.
Web: this opens a link in another tab when clicking on the icon.
12. When you're done, click on Update widget and it will show up on the monitor where it was created.
